Luke Shaw is on talks with Southampton over long term plan to stay at the club.
The left back has been at the club since the age of 8 and despite a great deal of speculation, he is very keen to stay at the south coast club:
“i”ve spoken with the chairman about a long term plan for me at the club”
“to end all speculation: I’m committing my future to Southampton.”
The 17 year old was full of praise for his club:
“You’ve had Ads (Adam Lallana) come through the youth system and now he’s the captain for the first team and obviously Prowsey’s (James Ward-Prowse) just signed a new 5 year deal and that’s what I want to be doing
Southampton is the place to be for kids like me”
